The best 24 hour dog sitting / dog minding care - inner West Melbourne
Exceptional 24 hour dog care/ dog sitting in Melbourne
Over the last few years Dog Walkers Melbourne has provided exceptional dog walking and pet sitting care for dogs and cats when owners are away. Now we can also offer you 24 hour dog sitting services located in the Newport/ Williamstown area, Melbourne.
Most dogs do best in their home environment while their owners are away. If your dog frets or suffers separation anxiety or night barking, the second best thing is 24 hour dog care/ dog sitting, in a person's home, NOT an impersonal kennel.
Besides getting very personal care, your dogs will be exercised twice per day and depending on your preference, allowed to sleep inside our Dog Walkers Melbourne Pet sitters house. Safety is our priority, so we only walk dogs off lead during pet sits if the owner gives explicit instructions to do so and the pet sitter is comfortable doing so.
All dogs that are looked after by our Pet sitters are covered on their walks by Dog Walkers Melbourne's $10M public liability insurance. This covers the dogs against any accident when legally and professionally walked by our pet sitters (as defined by our insurance terms).

CLIENT RESPONSABILITY
> We collect as much information as we can to thoroughly care for your dogs. This means before taking a dog in we require a couple of quick forms to be completed about your dog. We will email these to you before a quick client consultation.
>Just like on any dog walk. clients need to provide collars, leads and car harnesses in good repair.
> If your dog has preferred bedding, please supply that as well. Otherwise general clean blankets will be used.
> All food and feeding instructions are to be provided by clients. Because this is 24 hour care, frozen or raw food can also be provided by clients.
> Like any dog minded by Dog Walkers Melbourne, we require their vaccinations, worm and flea treatments to be up to date. Information about these are requested on our client forms.
Overnight (24 hour) dog minding FEES
You will see from our Dog Walkers Melbourne Fees page, that clients can opt for morning walks, afternoon pet sits, or a combination of both IN THEIR OWN HOME.REGULAR DOG WALKERS MELBOURNE SERVICE FEES: A combined long morning walk and afternoon pet sit is provided at a discounted rate for dogs left in the client's premises. This fee covers the cost and transport time involved in two visits to a client's premises.
Because our 24 hour dog minding service involves a client dropping off and picking up their dogs it can be supplied at the very reasonable fee.ALL (24 hour pet stay) fees are shown on our Dog Pet Sit Service and Fees Page
Healthy dogs require a minimum of one long dog walk per day. Unless your dog is injured (or the weather is unsuitable) we will always walk a dog under our 24 hour pet care at least ONCE per day. This helps drain their energy, keep them fit and reduces separation anxiety for the 'missing' clients.
We look forward to hearing about your 24 hour dog sitting needs! Please contact us by phone or the contact form on this site.
Cheers Bruce & Archie !

Donna Mathews
Donna became an extension to theDog Walkers Melbourne team in early 2014, she has been taking care of dogs in her home since 2007.
Donna says: "All dogs are cared for in the context of a loving, positive environment where they are befriended by my husband and four grown children. Dogs under our care are walked twice daily, and the longer morning walk usually takes place at Newport Lakes park or the Williamstown Back beach."

Donna says: "Your dog is fed (with client supplied food), patted and played with and given necessary care as instructed by their owners. This includes provision of any words and commands the dogs are trained to respond to. Basic grooming (brushing) will be provided."
"Your dogs are able to sleep inside and have close contact during the day if needed. I try to be flexible as I can with drop off and pick up arrangements as some times it can be hard with flights etc." Donna "always looks forward to meeting new families and their cherished dog."
My wife Annette, and I were rapt to have Tammy come with the “package” of looking after my Dad for the last few years of his life. Dad died in 2014 and now our family is 3.
Our backyard is big enough for Tammy to use it for the occasional exuberant run about. It’s a big bonus of living in Williamstown that there are lots of first class off lead places nearby, a couple of them fully fenced. So for the big runs there are plenty of places available.
I run my own work safety advisory business from home, and I will be the primary looker-afterer for your pooch (or pooches). I’ve pretty well always had pet dogs. Very much a “dog person”. In another life I did obedience competition (with a hilariously over-sized Cavalier King Charles Spaniel). We got through to achieving the mid level Open grading. I like to think that the obedience competition training gave me pretty good insights into how dogs think (most of them anyway!)
You can be sure we will heaping on the affection for your dog while staying with us, and he or she will be in good sensible hands.
Col Finnie.
